Is a "Free TV" connection still worthwhile?

Today it was (unfortunately) impressively proven that IP-TV/streaming cannot replace regular SAT-TV. The picture quality of DAZN during the Bayern-Ajax game was miserable. It immediately took me back to my student days, when you couldn't afford SKY yet and watched football on your laptop on dubious websites.

True, but that doesn't change the fact that (at least live) streams cannot replace regular TV.

Of course they can. Technically, there is absolutely nothing against it. It has more to do with wanting and being allowed to.

I have been watching HD TV in the living room and bedroom for years via Zattoo and AppleTV and will only install network cabling in the new building. If necessary, a satellite dish will be mounted on the garage later and upgraded via Sat>IP.
