Is a "Free TV" connection still worthwhile?

O God, I live in another time.

We also have a NAS, very practical... the scanner is connected to it as well, so you can quickly scan invoices at 30°C in the attic, and then calmly edit them on the laptop in the cool living room. The TV is also connected to a PC, we hardly watch anything live anymore, almost everything is recorded so you can fast-forward the commercials or cut them out if you want to keep the recording. I admit, even though I'm not a PC idiot, without my husband I wouldn't have this luxury...

Two TVs on Sat. One of them from the flea market for 50,-: a basic early Grundig flat, indestructible. An old DVD player from Philips. It runs and runs. Then a stereo receiver from Yamaha and a CD player, on Canton fonum. No Spotify, no computer in the living room, just iPad, technology I understand. Different times. And when I visit old people, like 80+. Then it looks even simpler. TV, radio, end. Works too. Karsten

I have a laptop, phone, a TV and that's it (a fritzbox too...). Everything else just annoys me because of the advertising and all the crap they throw at you. I'm not that old yet and don't want to get blood pressure problems from all that junk. It only costs money, for nothing and nothing again.

Spotify and Netflix are really cool, I wouldn't want to miss them anymore. Better to get rid of sat TV..

But when it comes to Instagram, YouTube, etc., I'm out too.

There was still discipline and order
