No, nothing like the ZDF Mediathek, Netflix, Sky, Entertain, and whatever else they may be called. Just without the LIVE events, but those come via SAT.

Thanks for the many opinions! I think I’ll just leave everything as it is, you never know what it might be good for someday! It’s not about saving 1000€, more about using it more purposefully!

One more question about the NAS, how do you watch movies on it? I thought it was just its own "cloud" for data, pictures, etc.

I converted all DVDs into MKV files on the PC and play them directly on the TV. I have never had a DVD player. Various [Mediathekbeiträge] are only available for 1 week, I sometimes download them and save them on the NAS.
