17 sqm compared to 12 sqm is a huge difference for such a room.... from "cramped" to "everything fits quite well". Of course, it is not huge, but the children's rooms would become properly usable right away...

But you don't want suggestions anyway, only confirmation. Everyone here tells you that the house overall is not really well thought out, you see it differently -> just build, the discussion seems pointless.

I would have nothing against a concrete suggestion, but I find it stupid to throw everything overboard and plan anew if we like the rest so much.

However, it is often the case that moving a few walls only results in a worse improvement. Sometimes it is simply sensible to start from scratch.

The kitchen overall and in all parts is a kitchen with the longest possible distances. The design as a whole looks as if the floor plan was developed backwards from the 3D animation of the building. I last produced such floor plans as a sixth grader, back then with a set square, nowadays twelve-year-olds probably with Minecraft.

Since building is only allowed with a northwest orientation here, the angle has been factored in.

In general, I’m once again missing a site plan or at least a north arrow on the floor plans. The key points—stairs, kitchen, hallway, children's room size—have all already been addressed.
