You must be losing a lot of nerves even before the first groundbreaking has been made?! What some people have to go through for domestic happiness! Fascinating! So then I assume the exterior view is approved and now you have to try to manage the inside?

Hehe. I read it but thought it was the wife’s best friend giving her two cents. Now I googled it: so, the city of Pforzheim pushes a construction project, e.g. a row of three townhouses on a street with regional through traffic – therefore considered "characteristic of the cityscape" (!) – through a board of five bored professors from out of town. They then say, for example, that a Kaufland supermarket should green its roof. Hard to believe what local politicians think they can take seriously. But this is not an isolated case; it’s apparently a trend (not only in BaWü). I won’t say anything about that.

Yes, that's probably what he's still missing.

Unfortunately, you googled wrong. However, I have heard of this strange advisory board. But it concerns the Tiergarten Pforzheim construction area.

Yes, that’s approved so far, hence the sticking to the existing concept.

Wow, even the architects are prescribed! Tell me, how much does this whole thing actually cost overall? Sorry if I’m asking boring questions that have probably been answered a million times already. I’m probably missing the first part of the film.

So I have to agree with you, I wouldn’t want to deal with this fuss too often either. At some point, you’d rather take the development plan than not build anything at all. However, I think this undertaking is quite a financial bomb. I would have expected something better from the architect from the start. Not that it’s bad, I don’t think so at all. But just not perfect for you. A shame.

But I have to think of my niece again. She’s young, but neither stupid nor naive. She sees the world through the eyes of the next generation and says quite clearly: It’s not as important how the inside is divided. The main thing is that you can be happy together and it looks nice from the outside. Somehow that fits the overall concept of your park. Makes me wonder if we’re just too old and picky?

I still hope it stays under 800 thousand.

Well, the architect plans about 40 houses a year, but for that, the planning cost less than half of what you would normally pay privately.

And honestly, I don’t really care about the exterior either. This attitude doesn’t really fit the development area, but the plots are relatively cheap at about €270/m² for the conditions.
In the other development area 2 km away, the municipal plots cost €440/m² and start at a minimum of 600 m².

So because of the price, you just submit to this nonsense.
