Briefly off-topic:

Hello ypg,

Which I think is great and for which I am grateful to you - and also to others.

But just because someone tries to give advice does not grant the right to personally insult that person.
That is not a sign of good style.

However, your above reaction to my request not to get too personal is not really confident.
If I have hurt you with this, I kindly apologize.

Regards

Here again an on-topic question:

Is there a way to comply with the Energy Saving Ordinance standard when working with a 2-layer masonry (sand-lime brick) and a pure air gap in between? That is, without filling this air gap with any insulation? Additionally, insulating the roof with cellulose accordingly. I would choose double-glazed windows.

I don't want to achieve KFW standard. Just to barely meet the Energy Saving Ordinance guidelines (or even obtain/receive an exemption. But I'm already inquiring about that in parallel).

Pumice blocks are cement blocks with pumice as the main component. Pumice has no foaming effect on anything but is a naturally stable volcanic rock that has existed forever.

Lumpi is right. Not enough. Double shell construction is possible with 24 cm Ytong or similar Poroton, a layer of mineral wool in front of that, then the clinker in front. With sand-lime brick the insulation wool must be thicker. The stone insulates poorly. Too little air inside.

Hi Lumpi,
Hi Nordlys,

Hm, ok.
Mineral wool... What is the current status regarding health issues?
As a child, I always heard that mineral wool was carcinogenic (at least during processing).
But there must be newer and more accurate results, right?! I'll google a bit... (Although with Google, everything is carcinogenic. You just have to google properly )

Do you maybe have a reasonable link for this?
