Attached once again is the house view and orientation on the property....since I noticed that the north arrow in the floor plan variants was not quite correct...

Why not? It wouldn’t matter whether you have this view from the entrance or from the living room... you always have the view from the "other" side

It becomes wider by rotation because you have the height in the front area.

I would move away from symmetry. The east window in the living room is in an unfortunate position. Slide the east window toward the TV (to a distance of 70cm) and make the window floor-to-ceiling: you also want to be able to look outside toward the east sometimes. I also wouldn’t place the large element in the middle, but more toward the dining area. Feng Shui, and you will thank me when you have a protective wall and not a window behind you. Besides, the facade doesn’t look nice when too many different window formats are symmetrically arranged.

Otherwise, I prefer platform stairs

So we have it similarly to how you plan it in the straight version, just with a regular door to the living room. It looks really inviting and spacious. I just don’t understand why you are planning a double door? You probably never fully open it and thereby lose space for furniture and space for light switches, etc.

Would consider ypg's suggestions regarding the windows! And flipping the staircase also makes the entrance area look much more spacious, and from somewhere you always see the staircase from behind. Since the north is different, I would of course leave the children's rooms as they are. But somehow I don't find the storage room there so ideal. It breaks up the bathroom and the children's room in a strange way. Can't you extend the storage room straight to the outer wall? Then the other two rooms will be tidier... I really don't like such corners... Oh, and I think the double-wing door to the living room is super nice! Friends of ours have a very similar entrance area and it looks very elegant visually. I also don’t think it takes up that much space for furniture, what would you put there anyway? However, the fireplace is indeed somewhat unfortunately placed. Maybe really adjust the windows in the living-dining area a bit and put the fireplace opposite on the outer wall?
