A really good alternative floor plan has often been developed here with a lot of effort. But that presupposes that you don’t just see the floor plan as a minimal change of the original but as a development within the framework conditions. And since you still haven’t named these framework conditions fully and clearly, you won’t get a reasonable suggestion.
Also, your feedback "we’ll take this to the architect" shows that you want to address the problems in isolation and not holistically. Ultimately, you won’t get around it. As soon as you move walls, the other rooms automatically change as well.
Hello WilderSüden,
That sounds good and I can understand the expectation here. But that’s not what I’m looking for. A sample floor plan from which I can learn or 2-3 tips would help me. Not the full offer. That simply helps me.
I find it strange when one person here decides who gets cookies or not. If I don’t get the small tips here because no one wants to give them, that’s okay. But you can say that nicely. We’re not in prison here, are we? :)
By the way, a 1960s farmhouse is even okay. It just shouldn’t be too cramped or dumb.
