Just as a thought: if the middle house in the north is "pushed" a bit into the garden, one could also plan an approach with a garden house extension here, in order to enclose the terrace on the west. In the upper floor, a shift of one meter to the west could loosen up the entire facade. The terrace would then get a roof. That might of course be a bit more expensive than a cube, but the house would also gain value as a result.

It’s only a group of three anyway. Then with imaginative neighbors (without checking whether their floor area ratio still fits):

The middle property is really outrageous. Who plans such crap? Having to accommodate parking spaces there as well... I also live in a middle house, but this is just rubbish.

I completely agree. The middle plot might be about 7 x 21. Six meters in front for the parking yard, leaving 15 meters. On 7 meters width and 10/11 meters house length, there remain 5 or 4 meters for a terrace including a privacy screen. Let’s take the 5 meters, so it’s not too sad; you get 7x5 meters at the back. 10 sqm terrace,... no. 6.5 meters in width and 4.5 meters (minus some space for a privacy wall with climbing plants)... Whether you can still fit a shed for bicycles there, which then have to be pushed through the house twice a day, is questionable. I probably wouldn’t even sow lawn there.

Goalkeeper is also not to be envied, with the obligation of 2 parking spaces. At least he still has the freedom to place a rotary clothes dryer and a sandbox.

If the middle property also has the parking space obligation, then there really isn’t much choice but to not have the houses start 2.95 m from the street (previous plan), but rather the houses have to be built further into the property. Or it is built with the offset.

I'm no longer surprised that no one wants the middle. Actually, the space is only enough for a duplex.
