I received the notification on Saturday that my system is being subsidized with the maximum 35%. The money will be in the account within 2 weeks. However, I only submitted the heating system.

Does that mean you pay the heating bill, submit it to the BAFA (with proof that you have paid), and receive the 35% in your account within two weeks? Edit: When did you submit the application?

I did not have to submit proof that I paid the invoice. The invoice from the heating installer is sufficient.

Of course, it doesn't happen that quickly.
First, you submit an application for the funding. Then you receive a confirmation from the office that the funding will be approved if you upload the corresponding proofs online.
The confirmation also includes your online access data for the uploads.
I uploaded the proofs about 1.5 weeks ago and received the confirmation of the funding on Saturday, which will be transferred to my account within the next two weeks.

Ah yes, I understand, thanks!

Is that really so? On page 5 of the information sheet it says: "PVT systems (completely) provided that the electricity generated is mainly used for own consumption and no remuneration under the Renewable Energy Sources Act is claimed."

Has anyone of you actually ever gotten someone from BAFA on the phone? Whenever I call there is a message saying the hotline is not staffed due to Corona...

Yes, but that means you simply do not receive any remuneration. In other words, for the electricity you feed in, you get significantly more through the Renewable Energy Act than it's actually "traded" for. I'm not a photovoltaic expert but I don't know anyone who does that. Self-consumption is usually far too low. I don't think it pays off.

Yes, okay, you have to calculate the balance. There are also photovoltaic electricity providers (Sonnen) where you don't feed in but still get something back. So it is not correct to say flat out that photovoltaic is not subsidized.
