Eligible costs for heat pump

We submitted our application on 25.03. Today we received a "Bewilligungsbescheid" by mail, introduced with the words: "You are receiving the approval of your requested funding today!" We applied for €49,600 and they approve the full amount. Now, logically, we have to upload the proof of performance after implementation.

I can gladly do that at some point. However, I am not sure if it is helpful. The BAFA clearly states that offers only need to be submitted upon request. I took that literally. Of course, I have a breakdown for ourselves. We have a mix of heating and KNX control. In our (!) breakdown, I included everything that, in my view, corresponds to the definition according to the BAFA information sheet. The BAFA has never seen this breakdown. In my breakdown, a total amount of €49,600 resulted. And I stated that without any explanations. The only thing I attached was the required annual performance factor calculation. They approved the amount without knowing what it was for. Now it is our task to prove this with the corresponding eligible measures/invoices.

Hm... actually, one should then simply apply for the maximum amount for approval. If it later turns out to be cheaper based on the receipts, then you just receive less paid out. However, you do not run the risk of having applied for too little.

Just looked at the offer again:

Air-to-water heat pump Viessmann Vitocal 200-S, AWB-E-AC 201.

I am supposed to pay €29,200 for it, as this heat pump is required instead of the "standard" one (no idea which one).

Anyone have experience with this pump? Is such a price justified?
