The eligible system ends at the heating circuit distributor!
That means you can only submit the heat pump itself, as well as the connection/installation costs for it.

It depends on the conditions. Depending on the situation, it is either pretty easy to achieve the calculated (!!!) >4.5 with an air-to-water heat pump or not. Of course, you also need the right heat pump. But you do know the seasonal performance factor calculator, right? Tell me something about your conditions.

Edit: On the topic of geothermal energy, there is not only drilling. Keyword ring trench collector, for example. I would have favored that if it had been feasible. It was too complex for me.

We would have liked to do it as well. Conditions are ideal. We just couldn’t find a heating engineer willing to engage with the experiment. Hardly anyone has experience with it, and own contributions are frowned upon at this construction phase. It will probably take a few more years until the technology is well trained.

So today I talked to our house builder about the topic. If we calculate with a Vaillant Arotherm Plus VWL 75/6, we come to an annual performance factor of 4.7. Additional costs for the heating would be just under 2,000 euros. For eligible electrical costs (meter, fuses, KNX components, weather station, server + Visu software, etc.) I come to a little more than 8,000 euros, so we have now claimed a total of 27,300 euros in costs. Let's see if that will be approved.

That sounds like little to my layman's ears. We came to 49.6. Advice from the energy consultant, the plumber, and the drilling company was to rather take in too much than too little. Cutting down is always possible, but increasing afterwards is difficult. But we will see as well. The exciting thing is that basically no one has experience with the new funding options yet. Before, it was really just the heating system itself.

With the heating, it’s still just an air heat pump. So we don’t have any expensive drilling.
All electrical work is done by ourselves. So I can only calculate with my purchase price from the wholesaler. Programming and everything else, I can’t even estimate because that’s also included in electrical work. Therefore, it’s "only" 8,000 euros. With a company, I’d easily be at double that.

But better than nothing
