Yvonne, agreement is already more than I expect, because it is a personal point of view. And if someone younger than me dismisses it as grandpa telling stories from the past, well, that is true too, I tell stories from the past, only these early past experiences are simply in the brain and govern my current perspective on things that I just consider exaggerated and unnecessary, because they want to solve a problem where I see none. Karsten, I think many problems don't exist if so many "Normalos" don't consider themselves special and unique and don't get upset about normal things, like for example a shared bathroom.

An extra children's bathroom is in my opinion perhaps sensible from 3 children onwards. We had 2 bathrooms at home (one with a shower and bathtub, one with only a shower) and a very small guest toilet...for 5 children + our parents. The 3 toilets were definitely useful, especially when we all wanted to leave at the same time, but the 2 bathrooms were sufficient. The smaller one was shared by 3, the larger by 4 people.

Here in the forum, however, many are only pushing for the children's bathroom because they want to realize the dream of bedroom, dressing room, master bath. Master bath, of course, interior and with fancy touches that only an adult really appreciates. Not really child-friendly, hence the must-have children's bathroom.

190 sqm no children's bathroom I consider it unnecessary Maybe I will miss it in 10 years There is still the bathroom on the ground floor. Which many others also have, despite having a children's bathroom.

In the vast majority of cases I have come across, everyone uses one bathroom and the second remains unused. Therefore, I am always in favor of having only one bathroom on each floor. Exceptions and other habits are the rule.
