I never claimed that private individuals with single-family homes want to protect the climate. Society only wants to protect the climate in general (and of course without personal restrictions).

Anyway, from that, politics then makes regulations for low energy consumption to achieve climate protection goals. If someone doesn't like that, they choose alternatives. Yes, for example the AfD. Without wanting to discuss political parties at length, I have to say that one has to endure the AfD. Just like any other party. If over 50% vote for the AfD, then that is simply the will of the people. Period. Then the will of the people is based on opinions rather than science. That's just how it works in a democracy.

1) Student protests: The students want school-free Fridays. That's it. Their leader is a sick autistic. 2) Consensus, solid house. so what. Anyone can build it. Why regulations forcing you to build this or that way? A Polish industrial house, totally fine there, double-glazed, 80 thousand euros ex works, not possible here because of our laws. 3) B plan gladly, but without arbitrary regulations. It is my country. And if I want to plant palm trees there, no matter how senseless that may be, I want to plant palm trees there. K.

I liked you until now, but that is completely unacceptable. You can't hold a candle to the little one - especially not after that comment.

Ms. Thunberg has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism. that is not slander, but fact.

Maybe, still this is drifting down to the lowest pub-talk level: I want, I want, everyone else is evil.

The students also want the politics, which so far has only consisted of lip service, to finally get off their asses. And the fact that they protest on Fridays instead of weekends gives them weight. Otherwise, they simply wouldn't be noticed. It is a clever exploitation of the attention management of our media. As for the worthless remainder of your point 1, I will mercifully say nothing... Everything that is externally visible is automatically also a matter of taste. Demanding the impossible is easy. The laws of the community apply even on your land, not your will. I have nothing against palm trees, but where is the limit where the will of the landowner must be curtailed? Somewhere there definitely is one.
