What are the dimensions of your walk-in shower? In the GÜ drawing it is about 130 and in mine 150 cm. I once read something about 165 being necessary to stay dry. We don't want to have a door.

You don't want glass? It wouldn't be so oppressive in a small bathroom.

Unfortunately, I do not have the final version and also forgot to measure this morning. There have been some changes to the shower tray and the washbasin. However, in terms of size, I think the shower area has remained the same.

Thank you!
Because of the slants, the bathtub has to be placed by the window in our place.
At the moment, I lean towards my design with the changed door hinge, but it all turns out to be noticeably tighter than hoped. Next to the bathroom is the study, which is only 10m2 in size, and I would reluctantly have to take something away from it.

I find the masonry solution nicer, as the glass walls require significantly more maintenance. The glass cabins we saw in young houses already didn’t look so great after a short time. That’s where the tip for a walk-in shower came from.

The maintenance effort is, of course, true. But we are planning a water softener anyway. Although you still get spots, they are mostly salt and can be removed much more easily. And a "straight" glass wall is also easier to clean than a cabin.

I would have preferred a masonry solution as well, but after seeing smaller bathrooms with a built-up wall (or even worse, as a T-solution) in show homes, I changed my mind once again.

Regarding the layout, have you tried using a 3D program? That helps somewhat with visualizing.

I don't think I would wipe down the glass wall after showering for longer than the first few months.

Maybe we should go to a model home park again and look at smaller bathrooms there.

I wasn't able to properly depict the slope with the planner, so I have so far limited myself to the floor plan because there were enough other things to plan. But I will try again.

If necessary, there is a 90 by 90 shower with a glass cabin, which would immediately solve several problems.
