And I would never accept such improvised rubbish again since I have proper insect protection ;-)

... or the dog jumps through like in the motorhome. Choose based on the quality shown to you and not the source - who installs it doesn't really matter, it's not rocket science.

An insect protection swinging door for the terrace is worth considering,
you open it with the tablet in your hand using your butt or elbow

Good idea, irrelevant for us, we have 2x almost 4m openings in the living area with glass folding walls and love the openness so much that we accept insects for it. In the motorhome (van) the insect screen is great, integrating a swing door into the sliding door seems difficult ;-)

Happens. But only if you’re drunk. :D

975 seems very expensive to me. We also had it done, but not by the builder, rather by a specialist company for this kind of thing, from around here. So we would also have a warranty, but it cost significantly less. We got insect screens for the door and 2 windows and paid about 500€ in total including installation. Doing it yourself is even cheaper, you just have to dare to screw into the frames. I'm a coward when it comes to that. We changed our minds at short notice from the sliding door to the swing door. It's not uncommon to want to go out to the terrace and somehow have your hands full. And then a sliding door is kind of inconvenient. The swing door can even be pushed open with your butt if necessary. :D
