If it were rocket science, the Russians would probably be leading

Many prefabricated house manufacturers originated from carpentry businesses, especially in the prairie: there, innovation pressure met available commercial space and plenty of hardworking people at low wages.

Well, I of course earned the equity myself within 2 years. Didn't inherit, win, draw, or anything like that... Worked hard for it.

However, I openly admit that the house with the land in this location and at this price was an absolute stroke of luck. Just last week, a similar plot went for 300k plus broker fees. Without a house on it.

But you also have to be in the right place at the right time first. That's not so easy.

Luck of the diligent, I would say.

If it is reality, then you are right.

As for your opinion that "normal houses" only start at 1500/sqm, this is not true, even if you repeat it a hundred times.
Opinion remains opinion.
Fact is fact.
And the fact in this case is that not only "somewhere out there," but also several users here in the forum really build very nice houses for well under 1500/sqm.

But as I said... you are doing it right. You have to make a living somehow. I also stand behind my company.
You behave exemplary

A house called "Architektenhaus" is first and foremost a house designed by an architect, no more and no less. Certainly, catalog houses were more or less also created by architects, but no one would probably call them that. It is naturally not the opposite of a settlement house. Among others, Berschneider + Berschneider Architects (if you want to google something) make very special things out of settlement houses or new buildings in this style. Certainly not to everyone's taste – I like it. But you got me with the split-level – due to eager typing that was supposed to be a staggered floor.

Well. "New building residential house L, Regensburg 2007" can be accepted as such – what I have seen from them otherwise is far from a settlement house. With a staggered floor, a typical settlement house would have been modernized almost beyond recognition.
