Building cheaply - this is how it can be done too!

Yes, for example my parents. Head warm, feet cold. If they hadn't tiled 80sqm of the entire ground floor, they would add underfloor heating in the carpeted area. But they don't want a tripping edge. Where there are tiles, the heating pipes run extra loops, that’s how it used to be done. In apartments with radiators, you don’t have that situation...

Exactly, that had to be said. Uno I, 75 i.e. (naturally aspirated) SX, with digital tachometer. It was a cool car, 1987.

: We also have such a plain city & country house in the configuration very similar to yours. And also with the nowadays impossible radiators. And believe it or not, before we knew whether this was the standard or not, we suggested to the seller to please remove the underfloor heating.

We heat a lot with our wood stove – the underfloor heating is way too slow.

I would have to calculate the total costs per m2 first, but I think we end up at the same price level and are also 100% satisfied.

Yes, um, underfloor heating is not (too slow), if it is properly designed. Just google "self-regulating effect."

Apart from that and on the topic: everyone defines their own standard. And everyone has to decide for themselves what to do and why. Still, I find some topics here important enough to at least mention. Resale value without underfloor heating will be lower than with it, etc...

That is my personal opinion. I cannot judge anyone here because I don’t know anyone personally, and why should I? For example, I also saved money where it was okay for me. Spent properly elsewhere. A stranger might say: why did you do it so cheaply there?
Pff, I don’t care... I had my reasons. Just like everyone here.

Morning,

just read through the million "is my money enough for a house" threads. You will quickly realize that the consensus very much is that you MUST calculate AT LEAST 1800/sqm.

What you’re writing here does not correspond with the reality of the forum.

And from 0 to 50, there were (or are) only very few who could keep up with it!

I think the thread is great and the idea of the thread starter as well. I was already very aware early on that this one would be talked to death again by a certain "faction". Here in the forum, it is simply not welcome by the "Illuminati" to build something really great and truly beautiful for under 30,000 EUR/sqcm. Here in the forum, the garage for 40-60k is just "only" upper-class standard...

It’s not hard to understand. This forum is great! It’s a super source of information. But, as with everything, you also have to be careful. Certain interests are frequently represented here. By whom? Well, take a look at the sponsors. The fun here must (rightly) also be financed. All legit. Not every post here is artificial. Not every statement is "fake media". Just as little as everything here in the forum is random and certain "directions", especially when it comes to prices, are "German average."

Again, the forum with all its users here is great. I really like it. But a certain and for me absolutely logical "party affiliation" toward sponsors is often not to be overlooked.

All good, if you understand it. It’s a pity for those who don’t see it and then also organize their lives accordingly...
