Unfortunately, that doesn't really help me, since I had explicitly asked for feedback from different homeowners, so I wouldn't have to rely solely on these two points. After all, the first point can be debated at length, and I find the second point quite weak. Just because one could (additionally) afford it doesn’t mean one has to. At least I would be quite annoyed by the "it wasn’t really necessary" thought. And I simply see that with us on the topic of "large format tiles yes or no."

That helps me much more. Thanks. From yesterday to today, my opinion has at least solidified to the extent that I say some/many manage fine with 30 x 60 cm, whereas others enjoy larger highlight tiles more. As of today, I would rather count us in the first category. Thanks again to everyone for the lively participation, and oh yes, Happy Easter. :)

Since the tile exhibition is in the walking area, my wife was inside more than 10 times, I only had to go along 3 times. They ended up being 50x50, 60x60, 30x60 and transitions as mosaic

But first it is important to decide how much money it is worth to you. Anyone who only wants to spend 30 euros/sqm for 60 cm x 30 cm tiles – so "good & cheap" – certainly doesn't need to worry about larger format tiles. Once the budget is set, you have to decide what you like within that budget.

Regarding the "experiences and feedback":
I have made my aversion to many grout lines and smaller formats quite clear. has expressed her love for many grout lines, that is smaller tiles – and attributed me a small-format way of thinking. Other opinions fall somewhere in between. Does that help now?

One would need to know the style of the house, the rooms, and the lighting conditions so that the correspondingly experienced forum members can give their valued opinion(s) and recommendations.

we have few single-colored tiles, crumbs, dust, and dirt should not be immediately visible

... Because you wrote not about taste, but about "good and cheap". That is a judgment that does not fit here.
Good&Cheap is a brand that does not have the quality of an expensive brand. But that has nothing to do with taste when it comes to tiles.
So anyone who reduces the value of a tile to its size is, in my opinion, petty. Yes!
But many people do have a size problem ;)
