Walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling tiles

As always a trend. The 60x60 format is ideal in most cases.

For pictures, I can recommend the hashtag #großformatfliesen on Instagram, as there are some tiles in 120*120 or larger.

- Even the delivery alone is very expensive. Conclusion: We chose 120x120cm tiles, which also results in hardly any grout lines.

Great summary of the various aspects. Perhaps additionally: large tile formats occasionally break during transport if handled improperly. It was "only" 120x120 tiles; only the third delivery from Italy arrived with the same number of pieces as ordered, with the corresponding time delay. But the wait was worth it, the large tiles look great in the stairwell.

I have no personal experience with it. We were advised against it because they are supposedly prone to cracks. Whether there is any truth to that, I can't say for sure either.

I also do not quite understand the frequent attempt to strictly avoid joints or, for example, brackets of elements in the shower/bath area. Ultimately, it is always a question of the overall picture, and many things can always match with each other and look stylish.

Without or with few joints, it is easier to clean.
