Exactly, it would be madness to keep writing the old specifications into the requirements whenever there is an expectation for something new.

Attached are the new floor plans. We actually like the ground floor very much now.

We also like the upper floor except for the area of the master bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom. The wall in the hallway should go straight down and separate this entire area from the hallway. We are still considering swapping Child 2’s room with the office.

There should be a gable roof above the front door and either a dormer above both the master bedroom and Child 1’s room or only a dormer above the office.
Or as a last option, a long dormer over all three rooms to have a window facing the garden from each room.

The utility room will be built so that a shower could be added downstairs later on.

The furnishing in the living and dining area is also not correct yet; there should be no chairs at the kitchen counter and the table is rotated 90 degrees.

I would move the wall in the upper floor from the hallway to the dressing room further to the left so that you can go from the dressing room into the bedroom and bathroom. The fireplace could be moved along if I am seeing it correctly on the ground floor. As it is, the dressing room is hardly usable. In the master bathroom, the shower and wet area directly at the entrance would bother me. The kitchen is huge and offers space for a special solution; I find the classic U-shape with a counter unsuitable here. I don’t quite understand the two separate storage rooms by the garage, what are they supposed to be for?

The one room in the garage, which is accessible from the outside, is intended for lawnmowers, garden tools, etc. The other is a passage room with a workbench, etc.

The interior walls of the garage will be lightweight construction, as we still want to see what fits best there.

I am a fan of a fire pit and always complain a bit that I didn't get one, but where the fireplace is now, I find it relatively useless. Near the kitchen, you don't need a fire pit that heats you up even more while cooking, and I also don't need that by the dining table.

I would consider whether I could move it to the living area, and the fireplace would then simply run through the children's bathroom.

In my opinion, the bay window in the dining room should be designed so that the dining table can be used exactly there; it looks less good otherwise. Even if, for reasons I don’t understand, there will be no chairs at the counter, someone will still end up standing/leant there. Anyway, the dining table should really stand freely and have space. I find it difficult with a bay window, especially here. If it were wide enough for the dining area to basically "disappear" inside, but as it is, it stands at the corner and I fear it will not have a comfortable place even after turning it. So either a bit wider or completely gone, or as already mentioned, the kitchen smaller or not as deep. I don’t see a suitable place for a fireplace with this furnishing, maybe if the living room were deeper on the bay window side, so then as a "room divider" between living room and dining room. I also think that window surfaces are missing; almost no light comes from the hallway. At the entrance to the office/guest room, I would try to get 60 cm as wardrobe space so that you don’t visually walk into the wardrobe side. I see it the same way, here it is a small little room and an unnecessary door. You enter this dressing room and then stand in the small closed-off room; to me it looks more like a storage room and the door takes up additional space for placing furniture. The upstairs bathroom looks uninspired so far but surely there will be more ideas here or you might open a dedicated thread for it. The shower is really right in front of your nose at the moment. The roof terrace is huge and is only accessible from the children’s area. To prevent it from being just a huge area, something must be done so that it doesn’t look ugly and can also be used as a real, i.e. nice, roof terrace. Too much area can also be a disadvantage, then it looks like a walkable garage roof and not like a roof terrace.
