That was my very first thought. This exterior view might have been chosen like this about 30 years ago
I consider this statement not generally valid.Your profile states your age as "30" - that doesn’t make age-adapted construction sensible.
See, tastes are simply different.I find the house very beautiful, I like the style.
see above – the statement sounds somewhat arrogant.Someone has money here, but unfortunately taste cannot be bought.
The bay window is not pointless if it fulfills a personal dream or taste. I wouldn’t build it either, but I am no benchmark for other builders.Even then it is still completely pointless and just costs money.
Everyone lives differently. Only one person needs to work shifts or have a special love for midday naps with a view, and suddenly the room is just right. This shows how important it is to describe how you want to live, what dreams and preferences you have instead of focusing directly on the "what." A good architect (m/f/d) can work with that and design a suitable building from it. Talk to the architect and describe your desired lifestyle, what you like to do, your habits, what you don’t like... Show pictures of things, furniture, houses, materials, details – knowing that not everything can be accommodated. Let the architect get to know you and then give her free rein with a design – if she catches fire for it. What comes out will probably far exceed your expectations. That naturally also includes the requirement that a lot of own work should be involved in the implementation. If you want to "play" with different styles, it’s extremely important to think about proportion, dosage, and material mix. Putting a Southern U.S. veranda on an otherwise Scandinavian-style house can be fantastic or a flop. If that is the wish, it is probably a good idea not to add many other shapes and accents like, for example, a checkered dormer window. In the garage stands a BMW E30, which is considered rather narrow today. Other furnishings are also drawn unusually delicate, such as the chairs at the dining and desk table. This results in a distorted picture. And still the bedroom, the room that is only used at night
