The bay window no longer has 45-degree corners but now 90 degrees
,,,,,,and right there it then starts to become dangerous in my opinion, when a somewhat coherently designed (if this house is liked) begins to be changed here and there and also to interfere with the facade. Few changed details are already capable of damaging an entire appearance visually.
For me, such a bay window is always somehow Gelsenkirchen Baroque.
I feel similarly and had hoped that this would have been banned in the meantime, because I, an idiot, was talked into having such a thing for the staircase many years ago. Such a rectangular bay window would rather be classified as a projection/recess in my case alone because I don’t even want to hear the word for the reasons mentioned. Let’s see which current must-have we will regret and be ashamed of in 10-20 years—
