I just looked at that again. There is a 2 m height difference according to and you want to bring the garage and ground floor onto one level? Steep driveway? Or ... how is that supposed to work? Are there any elevations etc. from the architect's plan? In my opinion, this is not possible without a professional. And a draftsman is simply not a professional.

Dear construction forum, I have bought a plot with a foundation slab. Now a house is supposed to be built on it. Our architect disappointed us. Now we are hoping on the draftsman and you. We really like the ground floor, but not the upper floor. The requirement would be....

Then the advice does not come on page xy to reduce the size of the house. You could also have responded to some inquiries.

But whatever, jokes aside. That the upper floor is not properly measured is a timely disaster, in my opinion. But it shows that the staircase space does not work like that. At least one meter is missing at the top of the plan to set a reasonable room there.

But you have also really stuck to the ground floor so that you considered it good as untouchable and you no longer checked here. This again shows very well that all floors depend on each other and must be considered together.

And now?

I don't even know if you understood me correctly. It's not about this small difference that you illustrated with red lines, it's about the dimensions on the exterior walls. Even without dimensions, it can be understood when looking at the guest WC with its width of just under 2 meters, your bathroom/bedroom in the same space but about 3 meters wide.

Edit: if I also add the walls, it's only about half a meter... still, something like this is important in planning.

Well then, there is still a lot to discuss with the draftsman. Here is another version. Surely for nothing. Just messing around.

Hello, no, the garage should not be placed at the same level.

What exactly do you mean by not measured correctly? The upper floor is intentionally shorter in the Y-direction so that the square meters do not become too large. On the ground floor, there is the bay window, where the top side is used as a balcony. To mask the overhang, the balcony was extended. I agree with you. We liked it and then wanted to adjust the upper floor accordingly. Meanwhile, I don't find the ground floor so great anymore either. Therefore, all variations of the layout would be possible. At least as far as the basement pipes allow.
