As I "feared": the inadequate upper floor is precisely the "result" of the fact that the layout of the ground floor fit quite nicely.I like the ground floor!
This wall alignment "improvement" is certainly not worth redrawing it "properly." My counterproposal would be: if it doesn’t work this way, then reverse it. So develop the (because of the smaller rooms more challenging) upper floor first and then derive the ground floor from it.In particular, I would be interested in your opinion on the picture adapted to the upper floor, as I will have the drawing changed accordingly.
