Hello kaho674, thank you for your ideas and for taking the time to create drawings.

Do you think the house looks that bad? The windows still obviously need to be adjusted.

My hope is that the "original design" – that is, the house formerly planned with the base plate – is more "coherent" in terms of the stylistic relationship between the floor plan and the building structure.

: What use is the original draft? It may fit from the outside or not. The same applies inside, and whether it then meets our wishes and needs on the inside is uncertain. The slab is there with the known dimensions, and we also know that a gable roof is mandatory. Should only 12.49x10m2 be built then? Why don’t we just set the original draft aside? It is pointless if we know it would have looked that way anyway. More important are ideas on how to achieve a proper layout inside on this slab. I see the outside as rather secondary.

In my opinion, that is a good argument for a house that fits a gable roof

I don’t get hung up on it as much as you do on the base plate. But I consider the original design at least equally worthy to the designs L to Z to be considered as an option.

I agree with secondary. But it doesn’t have to fit like a glove either

it has been requested.
However, I would rather not wait and twiddle my thumbs until a possibly unsuitable draft (internal as well as external) arrives.
As I already said, the construction company wants to receive a clear answer soon. I do not want to lose another week until the drawing is there, only to then say that it is just as bad as the one from my architect.
