Good morning
Did your old bathroom look like that then?
I happened to sketch it yesterday, since the door was originally planned that way here.
The 22 cm are necessary at the beginning because of the thickness of the drain pipe (at least).

I think the bottleneck appears again in the sketch, don’t you think?
Even though the passage is now bigger

One meter can no longer be called a bottleneck. But precisely for that reason, WT and the toilet should be reversed for you and these two slightly offset.

The door opens the other way with us. To the left of the door is also the radiator right away. Otherwise, the sink is a bit closer to the bathtub and the toilet is more centered. I would still question the 22cm. Yes, the drain pipe is 11cm in outer diameter. Nevertheless, the wall with us only builds up 14cm including tiles from the raw wall. However, that was quite a bit of tinkering until everything fit. Edit: we have a shower door that is a combination of a folding door and sliding door. It has 3 elements that slide into each other and then fold inward. Thus, this door doesn't bother at all. The door certainly wasn't cheap 20 years ago. Because it still looks like new.

Thank you all. so you prefer the draft from #11 over the one from #50?

We currently have a sliding door and simply want one that opens, even though a sliding door / folding door would be preferable due to space reasons.

Best regards PS: Happy 3rd Advent

Hello

It now indirectly has something to do with the bathroom. We are currently planning our guest WC. The washing machine + dryer (which will then be purchased) also have to fit there. Unfortunately, the guest WC has no window.
I wanted to know from you if you have experience placing the dryer on top of the washing machine?
If we place both side by side, there is not much space left, which is why this suggestion has been made to us:

I would appreciate feedback

I find 8 sqm already very small for a main bathroom, especially if it is so narrow and elongated.
