Hello Of course, the load-bearing walls can also be made from other stones. If you have a good advisor, they won't try to persuade you to their products. At least that was the case for me. I was even recommended other ceilings. What is absolutely important: an architect/planner who is familiar with the system and also honestly says what is unnecessary or not quite so easy to implement or can be done more easily. If you ask an architect, they usually say "can be done; no problem"... At least that was my experience. And if, after long considerations, planning, etc., breakthroughs still have to be made afterwards, that is no problem for a craftsman or an ambitious craftsman with good tools. In my house, I drilled all openings (12×172mm core drillings) for the decentralized ventilation units afterwards. If anyone still has questions and I can help, I will gladly do so. Years ago, I also searched forums etc. for information or reports of experience and found almost nothing. Best regards

Does the decentralized controlled residential ventilation have advantages with the shuttering blocks or was that more of a personal decision?

The reason why I install decentralized devices was purely personal and has nothing to do with the [Schalungssteinen]. I find the decentralized solution better and also cheaper.

Hello,

I have been searching for several weeks / months for more information about experiences with Isorast. Since a colleague built about 1.5 years ago, I was initially positive about the system. It is also clear that you have to or should contribute a lot of effort yourself. He has now been living in the house for just over a year and is still enthusiastic (he built with Mr. Hellmann).

Since we bought a plot of land last year, we are now fully in the planning phase. We have already been to Magu for consultation and recently also to Isorast Weller. That is exactly why I am writing here now. If I understood correctly, you will be building with Mr. Weller? We found the conversation with him really good, but we also drove home a little bit skeptical. Skeptical because we (still) have no concrete information or experience as to whether the concept really works as he described it. The concept is basically quite simple:

[*]Plus-energy house thanks to insulation values and photovoltaics
[*]Surplus electricity is fed into the grid (electricity cloud contracts with energy supplier) so that you can get through the winter
[*]Air-to-air heat pump outside with corresponding counterpart inside the house
[*]Hot water by instant water heater
[*]Underfloor heating (only in the bathroom) by electric heating mats (because conventional underfloor heating with water loops is too sluggish to have any effect in such a house)
[*]For spontaneous heating of a room, if desired, electrically powered radiators (infrared)
    [*]Ventilation system is clear anyway
[*]That means everything is powered by electricity. No ground source heat pump or similar. No hot water storage tank, …

My question now would be whether you will implement this principle together with Mr. Weller and whether you have further information about Mr. Weller? We are currently waiting for an offer from him.

Many thanks in advance!
Best regards

The concept really makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.

The concept sounds very special. For me, never in my life!
