Hello... You built the house including the land for 200000 euros? How much did your kit or the material from Izodome cost? Thank you

@dersiegfried

Hello Siegfried.

The prices are hardly believable. Respect. I assume you built in Germany.

My offers from solid house suppliers amounted to a turnkey price of at least €550,000 for 187 m² living space and 90 m² usable space (including garage) without land. Just the interior work was quoted at €300,000.

What bothers me about the Izodom elements is that the plastic webs seem to be available only for the 25 cm wide blocks. The other wall thicknesses have the Neopor webs, which is probably not optimal in terms of sound insulation and wall fastenings.

However, there also seems to be a universal system with removable plastic webs, which actually is not needed. What did you use?

Please describe your experiences. Let me hear something … :-D :

[*]Did you obtain further offers from other Neopor formwork stone suppliers? If yes, how were the comparable prices?
[*]What is your impression of the quality of the stones?
[*]Did you also use Izodom floor slab insulation? If yes, what is the impression?
[*]Which company took over the instruction for the Neopor stone processing? German company? What was the impression?
    [*]Who did the concreting?
[*]How good are the alignment supports?
    [*]Who made the reinforcement plans?
[*]How was the support from Izodom overall?

Thanks and best regards

I can hardly believe that.

Just calculate backwards. For a 170 sqm house, the windows must have cost around €30k. Photovoltaic system €10k. Electrical materials €7k. Additional construction costs €30-50k (earthworks, sewer, telephone, water, electricity). Roof €30-35k. Floor coverings €15k. Interior plaster + painter €25-30k. Sanitary + bathrooms €25k. Interior doors €4k. Exterior plaster on? Foundation slab €5k.
Oops - that’s already €200k gone and the land hasn’t even been purchased yet... And the ventilation neither... And whatever else hasn’t been paid yet either. With normal craftsmen, that’s not possible.

Could it also be that Siegfried is from the Polish company Izodom and wanted to do some advertising?! He based it on the Polish illegal workers' prices... I hope not and that he will get in touch here again.

Manufacturer quote "Costs: You can't say that in general. It depends on the region (Munich is more expensive than the Eifel), how complicated the house is, how much you do yourself, but you can roughly say that the costs for a shell construction are between €450 and €600 per square meter. If you build without a basement and do some things yourself, you can build a house with 150 sqm to 170 sqm (bungalow) with our system for €120,000 to €130,000 (turnkey)." I didn't ask further how the costs come about.

Connecting costs counted to the property, perfect plot completely level. Concrete slab, earthworks, masonry, interior finishing, roofing, etc. all done in-house. A master craftsman who signs off on mandatory work. Discounted hardware store special materials, equipment well below standard. Cheap radiators, 1 bathroom, 1 light switch per room, etc.
