Yes, that was one of the providers back then. Had a comprehensive website, "how easy everything is." Maybe there is more choice now. I still find the concept interesting. But the overall package has to be right.
My answer you basically already know: I suspect that people are reluctant to admit that they underestimated the ease of the DIY task. Marketing often portrays it as if with formwork blocks any halfwit could raise their house in no time – a bit of playing with Lego and then a call to the ready-mix concrete plant and the house is done. In reality, there is a bit more effort involved; and above all, a lot of planning about what else has to go into the wall before the concrete. DIY fortune hunters who skip the brainwork then end up with dry-installed drain pipes standing in front of the wall – who would then want to broadcast their foolishness on the Internet as well ...There are so many who are interested, but apparently only a few who actually build with it and then also write something about it on the Internet. Why is that, actually?
Well, we Germans are a people who constantly complain, and especially on the internet where we apparently feel anonymous and untouchable, there is actually more complaining than praising. So I think that when so many have fallen flat on their faces, they look for someone else to blame and also vent their frustration. But here there is probably only one sentence that should stand. Whoever doesn't dare doesn't win. (or lose)You basically already know my answer: I suspect, ...
But such complainers would probably rather "spam" online communities (if one can consider spelling mistakes with numerous exclamation marks !!! as "texts") than provide visual proof in blogs – which at least require a rudimentary imprint with a real name – that the botched job actually originated from their side.So I think that when so many have fallen flat on their faces with it, they look for someone else to blame and vent their frustration.
