Oh man, I haven’t been here for quite a while. It was asked how I decided. The shell of the building is now standing at our place and today some of the windows were installed. The earthworks cost us the summer, so everything is moving a bit slower. We built with izodom. How shall I put it, not all that glitters is gold. Many things are portrayed as easier than they actually are. But I am still convinced, of course I would do some things differently today. But for now, I am still convinced of the system. There are always skeptics, you have to follow your own path. If anyone has questions just get in touch, I’ll try to check in here more often. Regards

Hello everyone,

I also plan to build a house using a Neopor construction kit and had a similar experience to you ... there are simply very few experience reports on the internet.

How has it progressed for you?
Are the experiences with EUROMAC good? Degriech, what is your current status?
I would be very interested in contacting you. For example, I often drive past Mannheim.

Best regards

Hotzge

Hello Hotzge
So far, I still have nothing negative to report about Euromac2.
If you are interested in Euromac2, then contact Alexander Scheunemann. He can also put you in touch with me. I am still building near Grünstadt.
Regards, Sven

Hi Sorry I haven’t been in touch for a long time. Things were very slow for us... we already had the notary appointment at the end of November last year, but everything was only finalized around February. The first meeting with Mr. Scheunemann was great, but we first had to clarify how to handle the demolition of the current house. Also, since we initially wanted to do a complete renovation, we need a cost estimate for the bank in order to then realize a new build. And that really turns out to be a lengthy process. At the beginning, you don’t even really know what you want, let alone have an architect etc. But then he is supposed to make an approximate cost estimate for the bank... well, in any case, the building inquiry is now with the building authority and as soon as we know what and how we are allowed to do, we will take the next step. We also switched back more towards Poroton for very banal reasons such as the fact that most tradespeople simply have the most experience with it. We just hope that we can meet our deadline of July 2021. In any case, I now know that (especially I) probably just wanted to clarify things too early and didn’t have other things on my radar... So it keeps moving forward. Best Mano
