I think I won't be able to avoid adjusting the height at the window. If the planning as posted above is implemented, the following measures come to mind:
a) Remove the old window, build up the wall by 10-15cm, install a new smaller window. Disadvantage: high costs (1-1.5k)
b) Remove the old window, install a new window with a transom and a 50/100mm frame extension. Disadvantage: half the cost of a)
c) Order the kitchen accordingly, use smaller feet for installation and do not exceed 86cm. Disadvantage: countertop remains deep, no XL dishwasher
So I think the best option in my opinion is b) ... because then I have MY desired kitchen, the desired countertop height, the XL dishwasher, and no hassle!
If I am already buying a new kitchen, and I don't do that every five years, then ALL aspects, especially those of the kitchen, should harmonize.
Everything else somehow doesn't make sense. And I would regret not having implemented it that way at some point.
Or?
Do you have any other ideas?
