Yes, that would work. You could even, if you want to do some DIY, shorten the wall by 20cm and install two 40cm doors - but then you would have to buy the metal bars for on top separately.

Just like in the picture above, I would rather take a 60 and 40 cabinet if it fits and leave the corner empty. A cover panel must be placed on the front of the corner cabinet. Maybe that's why it looks so strange in the planner. A measured floor plan would be helpful.

Regarding the measurements:

The separation between room 2 and 1 is a step, not a wall.

Between room 1 and 4 there is no wall; I didn’t know how to draw it differently. It is a small open hallway with an entrance door. Room 3 is the spacious guest bathroom.

The water connection is currently located under the window and, after consultation with the installer, it will be moved because I want to swap the sink cabinet with the dishwasher. This way I have more space at the sink and no possible obstruction at the tall cabinet/fridge. It will look approximately like this:

Yesterday I read some interesting articles about "Dead corner = Good corner". Now I am considering whether to "let the corner by the dishwasher die". That way I would still have a bit more space on the kitchen countertop itself. We have plenty of space for pots and pans.

The same applies to the U-piece ... I think, as mentioned above, it makes more sense to install a 60 and 40 there. Especially since at the right corner there are only about 35 cm that I might lose.

Hm, I thought the dishwasher was between the sink and the fridge? There is no corner there...?

Or do you mean the corner cabinet to the left of the sink? I would also prefer to take an 80-sink cabinet there. I can't quite see the left side right now.

Depending on the rearrangement, the dishwasher is in the tall cabinet where the fridge is. To the left of it is now the base cabinet for the sink. And to the left of the sink is the mentioned corner. I don't think I can fit an 80 cm one in there. I'll test it right away...
