The staircase looks a bit small

Swap the children's room with the bedroom. 1. Cooler 2. somewhat more separated from the children's room by the dressing room

Only then does the staircase not fit

that's exactly the same, it doesn't matter whether you pull the stairs down or not. I would rather choose the option with the straight stairs at the entrance, underneath you can also plan a storage room.

It started like this with about eight hundred posts ago as well, following the seemingly harmless principle of optimizing a originally functioning floor plan just a tiny bit; it also started with the staircase, and then the domino effect took its course. At some point, a banal drainpipe next to the sofa abruptly ended the LSD trip, but since then the sword of Damocles of symmetry still hangs by a silk thread over a still unsatisfactory wardrobe without a key bowl. And if they are not dead, then tomorrow they still won’t know through which of the window doors it leads out of the fairy tale forest again. Do you want that?

Okay. With the Brooklyn floor plan, what bothers me is that the hallway upstairs has no window. It then seems very dark. Would this floor plan be feasible in a similar way? Unfortunately, there are no size specifications included here.

Everything is feasible, you just have to like it. I would miss a wardrobe on the ground floor and upstairs I wouldn't want L-shaped children's rooms with an extravagantly large hallway. In the bedroom, such a dark dressing area would also bother me. Just take a look at the many floor plans on the internet first.
Best regards
Sabine
