That would also not be a decision in this respect, as you can also build prefabricated solid houses. If that is meant to imply being "religiously" unbiased in terms of wall construction, then that remains the case (see my Steinemantra).

In my reading, these are two reasons to look for an independent architect. For a house of this size, I definitely see that as advisable.

Google Petershaus Family Plus. It is quite similar to your floor plan. The children's shower bathroom and bathroom would then have to be converted into a bathroom and utility room. The bathroom and dressing room would then be a passage to the utility room, which I personally don't find bad. In the past, most people had the washing machine in the bathroom ;)

If you stick to your floor plan, I would combine kitchen and dining into one room and separate the living area. Or open everything up. Then the kitchen no longer feels like a passage room because it is part of the open plan area. This is common in many floor plans with a straight staircase, where you pass directly by the kitchen.

If everything is to be new/can be new, I would experiment with a different staircase shape and location and/or entrance from the north.

Topic 2 Home office - there are employees who share an office. It could also work at home, right?

I briefly took the time to straighten out your planning a bit and eliminated some errors. I have the feeling that the area could be reduced. The children's rooms are now 16 sqm in size. I haven’t checked the bedroom at all, but it obviously looks quite large. I would shorten or narrow the house by half a meter to one meter, and for example slightly reduce the dressing room, bedroom... The storage room could be removed or included in the bathroom. The living area downstairs is also quite generous, and many dream of a TL room over 10 sqm. That makes the budget look more relaxed. This is honestly just a quick idea... Edit: I would make the bedroom door lead to the hallway to have a shorter way to the toilet... But you could also shorten the hallway. yes, quite large. [/QUOTE] No, worse. :D Seriously. Nothing fits together here at all. Just try to mentally go into and through the house...

[*]The offices are each almost as big as the children's rooms....combine 1 of them with about 15 m² [*]Bathroom access somehow strange with this recess (and wrong door hinge) [*]Generally place doors so that usually a cupboard fits behind (already mentioned) [*]The scenario with "meeting" and "laundry" was also already mentioned [*]Dark hallway on the upper floor [*]Technical access through the kitchen [*]...
Listing all of this is too tedious for me. Please press the reset button.

A friendly, inviting entrance to a "190 m² cabin" definitely looks different.

If 2 people seriously work from home with many video conferences, etc., then I tend to agree with Yvonne in favor of 2 smaller offices.
