Ah yes, we are almost building Brooklyn (sometime soon)
We will still get the key under

I just want to say: In the upper floor hallway it will be bright! So that does not speak against the floor plan. This works through a large stairwell window, which for us starts, for example, at the landing and goes almost up to the ceiling on the upper floor.

I have already looked at quite a few floor plans.... most of them are pretty similar.

Here, the only thing that bothered us in principle was the staircase. We would have liked it more in the hallway and with a storage room. The kitchen is relatively easy to adapt.

Maybe a landing staircase like this would also make sense. Similar to the spiral staircase. But that makes the utility room quite small. The staircase then gets light from the side windows. You simply extend Child’s Room 2 up to the bathroom. But it is then relatively narrow and elongated.

You can make a storage room under the stairs, it works very well with this type of staircase.

Move the door to the walk-in closet to the right, so towards the bedroom door?!

Wardrobe under the stairs?

Have taken up the request of the OP and only adjusted the upper floor. However, this would require a new arrangement of the windows. In the niche in the bathroom, possibly a very large rain shower or maybe the bathtub could fit. With a width of 1.50m and an 80cm bathtub, there would still be a 70cm passage. The wall to the stairs could be nicely decorated to create a "cozy corner" in the bathroom. 10-20cm more width would help then.

I don't think it's that bad at all. We want to brick in the bathtub... you could use the whole niche.

However, the toilet, shower, and a wide washbasin also have to fit in.
