The advantage, however, is that fumes cannot spread to the floor above, for example if a child forgets to close the door. Otherwise, I fully agree with you, especially regarding the ceiling height. We currently have 240–250 cm depending on the room, and less should definitely not be, preferably even a bit more in the rooms with 240 cm.

Why a landing staircase? That is 6 m2 of wasted living space. 6*4000 euros is 24k???

Ceilings under 2.5 m should not be planned without necessity.

Stairs should be max. 18 cm high and min. 27 cm deep. Anything else is a poor compromise that is not necessary here. Leave out the landings or divide into two steps.

Sometimes I may express myself inaccurately, even incompletely, so that everyone can draw the same logical conclusions as I do ;-) With my statements about the insufficient size of the garage, I would conclude, like , that a car does not really need such a luxury home, and if it can only be created so compromised, it would be better to just leave it as it is. Only the (not entirely understood by me) possibly exclusively available options for parking spaces overall (2 required, ergo one necessarily INSIDE the house?) would make me accept a garage in which I can open the car door 30° with good will. Contemporaries equipped with forearm crutches must then get in in front of the garage, as well as overweight or inflexible people (rheumatism, arthritis, osteoarthritis consequences).

We will have to take another look at the stairs. However, we don't really need more living space right now and somehow I don't find spiral staircases particularly good. Visually, I also find the staircase with a landing better. And if someone falls, I think two landings won't hurt. A ceiling height of 2.4m on the ground floor is actually not a problem in my view. The first floor could be kept at 2.52m and the 2.30m under the gallery will not be built as such. That would be too low for me up there. If I still remove the 16cm from the floor slab, the heights should fit. We did not want to adjust that in the building application now. Since we already had difficulties getting permission for 35cm higher than one neighboring house. Our argument was that the floor plan in the attic would not work if the roof were any lower (§34). The garage is actually indispensable. We have to provide 2 parking spaces on the property, but can buy out one for 9000,-. And there is no space for a parking space elsewhere.

Oh, really a shame that not even a link is provided referring to the previous discussion.
THIS DISCUSSION HAS A BACKGROUND AND WAS ABANDONED!
It would probably be time now to link the preceding discussion here, especially if it was not continued back then.
If previous contributions are ignored, further thoughts become unnecessary… the point, of course, is also the ongoing building application.
What do you expect here now and why, ? Should we now rehash and repeat the whole thing?

Who exactly are you talking about when you write “we”? I have already received good feedback from some people that I will deal with. What I then implement and how, you have to leave that to me ;) I don’t even understand why you are so tense…
