Every architect would tell you that a straight staircase does not really fit into a square house, at least not if you want to use it max. efficiently! A straight staircase creates hallways that are far too large!

we would like living, dining, and kitchen in an open corner arrangement as well as two other large rooms (housekeeping room/HAR and office) on the ground floor. Hallways are created in principle. It’s not like it’s just a long hallway. They are arranged as follows: wardrobe, door to housekeeping room, door to kitchen.
