Oh, so the passage from the hallway to the living room means with a wall stub?

Hm I don't really know either. Somehow I don't like these townhouse block floor plans at all. Which of course is a matter of taste. But it seems as if in the end they are all built the same. That's why try to take an existing and functioning log house floor plan as a basis and not tinker around yourself. Some things were mentioned that any reasonable architect would slap you with. But in the end the general contractor couldn't care less what he conjures up for you. The main thing is that you are satisfied and he gets his money. Have you looked at some model houses? I think that brings a lot of insight!

It should no longer be a city villa, but rather a rather wide house with something between 140 and 200 cm knee wall and a gable roof. Visually, for example, like a Kampa Oslo.

We will still look at model houses and noecher, not just the model house park in Dresden, have been to Chemnitz and will also go to Leipzig and possibly Berlin in the next few weeks.

Why not just tidy up the upstairs a bit? Just to make the two children's rooms the same size, you create 3 dead corners that are bad for both the children's rooms and the hallway. By the way, the hallway on the ground floor is out of the question. Imagine coming into the house and being squeezed by the wall on the right and the stairs on the left.

so, but now:

Instead of the hallway cabinets, of course, a door could go there, but is it really, really necessary?

There might even be too many windows or some of them could be fixed glazed. For example, the terrace access should be in the center of the living room, the other windows could still remain normal windows in case we want to change the furniture plan later.

Instead of the opening to the living area, there is actually also space for a door.

Then this should be the final rough draft on which the GÜs can make their individual adjustments. I did leave the kitchen open after all; maybe it could be structurally solved with a steel beam.
