I am currently reading the whole thread and came across this post...

Man man man. Quite a statement on how "easily" one talks about over 100k more. This is not an attack on you, Zaba12. I find such statements, without overvaluing them now, more often here in the forum. (Add 50k to it and then you still have X. Just take 40k more, then you can do this and that.)

I see these numbers, think about the monthly rate and then only see the years it takes to pay something like that off. Sometimes my stomach really turns when I think about having something like that ahead of me.

But everyone is different there. (Not better or worse. Just different).

Best regards

All good. It wasn’t about “putting 50k€ or 100k€ on it and you get this and that more,” but rather about, among other things, TuC putting up a house without extras for e.g. 250k€, which is perceived as cheap. Which is true in absolute numbers, but in relation it is not really so.

If you think about it, 100k just for "would you like a little more" is quite intense

Not meant to be judgmental. Everyone should do as they want, can, and like

Does "a little more" mean more quality or more features to you?

If you break down the 100k€ into the real items, it feels different. There are things like a tiled WU basement with underfloor heating, a second bathroom, controlled residential ventilation with geothermal exchanger, photovoltaic system, lots of tiles, large window areas, Venetian blinds, lift-and-slide door, fireplace, underfloor heating, KfW55, good electrical equipment, free planning, etc.

I wouldn’t have spent the money just for better quality.
