The question is what you mean by the other end of the equipment scale. What you posted here many would at most categorize as upper standard. I’m just reminding you of the staircase and bathroom furniture.

I usually don't understand the talk about the "level" of the equipment anyway. Besides the budget, something like that depends a lot on individual preferences. One person with a tight budget splurges on a very specific, expensive flooring, another has plenty of money available but happens to find a tile for €15/sqm extremely beautiful and chooses it. Does that make one of the houses better than the other? In my opinion, it is more important, for example, to carry through a style or, in the case of a style mix, to make the whole thing harmonious.

So with sanitary fittings, I can't tell whether it's a DIY store toilet or Villeroy & Boch. My butt doesn't get sore... but floors etc. you can notice. Mostly it's the aesthetics that decide.
