Hello first of all,

I am new here in the forum.

Is it even possible to build an affordable house? We are about to buy a plot of land and have had several appointments with different construction companies. The land prices here are around 1000 euros per square meter, so only 260,000 euros remain for the house and additional costs. We need about 120 square meters without a basement. We do not have high demands. According to Town& Country, it should be doable, but when you read here, you get the feeling it is impossible.

Best regards

It is not impossible, it is only bound to certain norms and rules that save costs. There are just many here who dismiss it from the start. That is the mentality of this forum.

Depending on where you want to build, it is definitely possible to construct the REINE HAUS for €260,000.

What does the pure house mean? Including additional construction costs?

120m² of living space for 260,000 euros is currently only possible in my opinion if a certain amount of personal contribution is made.

The incidental construction costs are the deciding factor here. They must be paid and are possibly NOT included in Town & Country.

This includes, for example, earthworks, house connections, costs for permits, etc.

At Town & Country, the house costs 184,000 including the base slab and earthworks... theoretically, 80 remain for additional and ancillary construction costs...
