What kind of sectional doors are these supposed to be? They alone cost at least 2000€-2500€ each. And the garage? :rolleyes:

When it comes to the outdoor facilities, I think it is possible to do it more cheaply and still make it nice.

With his 25,000€, surely means only the rough structures and must-have things like the paving…

Two days ago, we signed for a plastered garage, 3m x 8m, height 2.60m, with preparation for green roofing and two (!) sectional doors (one at the front and one at the back). It will cost 10,500 euros. That's why the 15,000 euros for the carport surprise me a little. ;-)

Slowly, one has to mention that this "we only paid this and that" is starting to annoy people here in the forum.
When calculating, it is better to take a higher realistic value so that possible additional costs can be covered later. Or the regional surcharge.
That there is always someone who paid less is self-explanatory.
My neighbor paid 16,000€. So what?

As a future builder, one should compile the things/costs oneself anyway, to get a feel for it.

The city villa from Heinz von Heiden is supposedly supposed to cost 250k, then it says below!! Energy efficiency 50, wall-integrated electric aluminum roller shutters, triple glazing with thermal protection, controlled ventilation system, underfloor heating with individual room control !!
So, then I assume that this price of 250k includes the FOUNDATION SLAB.

AND NOW comes the point that interests me. The costs that THEN come up for someone.

Garden? Garage? All that I just listed. And that’s exactly what it’s about right now, questioning the costs so that one can even think further and not because I want everything no matter what the price.

Keep your eyes open in traffic..., and combining a bit more later saves a lot of trouble ;)

It depends on how and what you do. Some dig 4 holes themselves in the gravelled parking lot, pour point foundations, and put a kit on it for 1,500€. Others have a floor slab concreted and have a carpenter (or alternatively aluminum or glass) install an expensive carport on it. As an intermediate solution, you can of course set up a higher-quality kit yourself and pave the ground. I would estimate 5,000€ for that; that’s enough for a kit and paving done by yourself.

It’s like with the garage… some take it cheaply as a steel frame with plastered sheets. Others absolutely want it built with masonry, a pitched roof, and a walkable attic. And others just set up a concrete garage ;)

Photos gladly. Regarding naming this company, I’m concerned it might be seen as covert advertising and I could get banned since I’ve already received so many warnings. If interested, I might be able to mention the name in a coded way.

The data according to the building contract: Dimensions overall (W x L x H in m) 2.95 x 8.06 x 2.60 Clear door dimensions (W x H in m) 2.50 x 2.16 - Fleece, E-purlins - Roof load increase to 300 kg/sqm, green roof (with “green roof” only the preparation is meant; we will do the greening ourselves) - 1x sectional door front side, 1x sectional door rear side - Installation Total price incl. VAT 10,500 Euros

(For us, the external plaster, trims, Hörmann sectional doors, gutter with downpipe in white will be done. We will then paint the plaster ourselves in the color of the house (the side facing the house, which I would also like to green if possible, I might even paint green). That’s not much, basically only one side and a bit at the front/back, but there are also the doors. The other side of our garage faces the neighbor who probably has his own plans regarding color.)

Delivery time: 7-12 weeks, we have to make or have made the base slab/point or strip foundation ourselves

One of our future neighbors had the same, also based on the recommendation of his seller. In the end, the installers wanted so much "tip" that he did not save even 100€. Of course, this part is now excluded from warranty and guarantee... ;) I think that this is either an arrangement between installers and sellers or the matter with the warranty is the reason.
