Thank you very much! That really helped a lot and reveals many hidden costs that you didn’t even have in mind. Thank you! If you add it all up, it only comes to about ~245,000 euros. That’s not everything for the complete turnkey house including the land, or am I stupid? :D

If I read the list correctly (not exactly easy to copy, but still informative), these are all the costs that are NOT included in the house price. So the contract price is added to the 245k. And the 0 € items should also be relevant for you. Outdoor facilities will come, but with Pinki they are currently still at 0 because they have not yet been calculated.

I have seen that so far and sure, there would definitely be more added for the outdoor area.. I thought that it was additional.. crazy, you can't get your own home today for 600,000 including [Grundstück]? that's insane

As many other posts show: by now it is more the rule than the exception to land over 600k. Here in the forum, however, it often concerns individual builds and therefore a higher average than usual.

It does not have to be an architect-designed house for everyone or a hexagonal bathtub like Pinki’s [muss so eine Badewanne gleich mal Googlen ;) ].

Much depends on the region (plot) and one’s own understanding and skills. Through own effort, five-figure sums, in exceptional cases even six-figure amounts, can be saved.

One thing I can promise you: catalogue prices are not worth the paper. Everything that comes afterwards is much more important, and then see what is left in the end.

Edit:
Well... after Google research, a hexagonal bathtub is not necessarily extravagant :) a nice corner solution.

Where is the house supposed to be located?
150 k€ for the land and about 450 k€ for 150 sqm. + the "hidden" costs that a newbie in construction (still) doesn’t know.

You have to approach both things.
What am I willing to pay, what can/want I afford, and what does what I want cost.
