Yes, it was exactly that. He wants numbers to calculate. And it is important to tell him that in certain areas there can be everything from cheap to expensive (depending on his requirements). At least it is more important and appropriate than if mentioning cheap prices annoys you.

Our previous garage was made of brick, so we lack experience regarding how thick the walls of a steel garage should be. For now, it’s fine as it is. Apparently, it can be easily screwed on (and thus also unscrewed) ... maybe we can even sell it again later. :)

We don’t yet have the price for the floor slab/strip foundation/point foundation. But I’ll gladly provide that later. If we only need a point foundation, we might do it ourselves. The ground is already compacted. I once read something about "RuckZuck concrete" or something similar. I want to try that because the name sounds funny and I (once again) assume it makes everything easy and quick. :)

We have 3 metal garages. They have foundations made from curbs, 8 cm wide and 30 cm deep. It’s not professional because technically you’re supposed to lay the foundation below the frost line, which would require an 80 cm depth. But it has proven itself well for many years.

that's true, but it helped me a lot here because you can then roughly estimate what budget you need. the bank has now told us that 520,000 euros would be okay, if I then sell the apartment that's not a problem. we now hope to get something decent with that, next week we're going to Town & Country, that's where we get the final number to take to the bank according to the phone call.
