That sounds plausible. Since my husband completed an electrician apprenticeship before his studies, he can install the drives himself; otherwise, we probably would not have accepted it. According to the salesperson, the drives and remote controls would cost 1,400 euros. Whether that price is already doubled for our two gates or if it is the price for one gate, I don't know.

I thought that your price quote included the foundation since it is absolutely necessary. And suddenly you’re at (I don’t remember how expensive it is…) 500/1500€? more..!
Ps:

Hörmann is also a company ;) That happens with paste & copy, you probably copied links

Maybe your questions have already been answered with my post just now. If not, please just ask again.

Oh, I didn't mean it that way. I thought it might be a helpful reference point because our prices are current or only a few days old. That's why I usually write so extensively and give the details, as well as our federal state and district. I will refrain from doing so in the future.
I can't assess the "only paid ..." thing. It is also quite possible that we are paying too much.

Building it ourselves would have been our plan B. :) We didn't want a concrete garage because of the crane, permits etc. :) The recommendation of a pumice stone garage from a fellow forum member would have cost over €30,000 and that without our special requests.

Yes, but they have been mentioned here so often that I thought I was allowed to do so too. :) I didn’t copy any links. I have internalized this prohibition by now.

Don't take it personally. But at that moment, it was a perfect opportunity for some here. It can always be cheaper! However, that's not what you _calculate_ with. The OP wants numbers for _calculating_. They didn't ask for the cheapest price. Niche figures or half “without foundation” numbers won't help the OP. wrote – 15000 for carport… And if he takes a cheap carport for then 2000€, there are also carports for 600 as a DIY kit, but you _calculate_ actually according to the value of the house.

Not always so defensive, not everyone in the forum has to like everything you do ;) Basically, that does not seem completely wrong to me. During the planning phase, I once inquired about concrete garages and got an offer for a steel garage from a provider (delivery for concrete too complicated). I was at about 3x6m, electric sectional door in front and manual swing door at the back, around 10k without foundations. The devil in such offers is in the details, though. What height, what does "greening prepared" mean, what electrical installations are included in the garage? Foundations can also be expensive or cheap, depending on whether you have point foundations in gravel or a concrete slab is poured. And then an offer today can look completely different in a year... Ultimately, most details are not that important, because with construction planning you don’t have to scrutinize the garage down to the last euro. You just have to set a rough amount you want to spend and that should be realistic.

One calculates according to the budget or what one can or wants to spend. And of course you don’t have to calculate 50000 euros for external facilities if you know you will do it yourself. This "This and that costs at least... " gets on one’s nerves. From my point of view it is important to know all possibilities. From "I have everything done top quality" to "I do everything myself with used materials." Every prospective builder can then decide for themselves what to plan for. This forum is not the average or standard of prospective builders. At least here in this area, external facilities are mostly done by oneself, carport kits are assembled, etc. And often not immediately after moving in. These are not niche prices, but usual things.
