Fortunately, I had a 4000m² forest property and 3000m² of meadow in my childhood where I could let my imagination run wild. Who knows what I would have gotten up to if I had grown up in a city.

Absolute agreement! Children need balanced and present parents, other children, additional good adult role models, good nutrition, "being allowed to be children," and the opportunity to play, learn, and experiment. Certainly, it helps if there is also space for this – but that is not decisive.

Sometimes his posts are just cleverly packaged nonsense - sorry . But partly, it’s too much pub talk and not differentiated enough for me.

It is simply the way things go in times of cheap money and rising prices that the market serves the demand for small and “affordable” plots in suburban belts and metropolitan regions for the “broad masses.”

And it is simply the case that no family feels like paying 1200 € cold rent for a 4-room dump.

That’s why small semi-detached houses and row house settlements come about. Plain and simple. Every generation has its challenges, and ours is somehow to get property that can still be paid for.

Regarding the ETICS. There are some developments in disposal and it should not pose a problem for the heirs. Links unfortunately do not work. Mealworms decompose polystyrene Fraunhofer Elma Mehovic EPS recycling in a closed loop. Creasolv process

Perhaps the demand for mini plots will decrease if city planners manage to create affordable, attractive housing.

Well, the question is whether it will even be necessary with the [WDVS]. Old plaster off, new plaster on.
