Heat pumps placed outside? I could imagine that, at the latest when the builders can no longer afford or want the regular maintenance and upkeep, they will become somewhat louder and could disturb others. Those that are not "hidden" somewhere but stand next to the front door, I also don't find very nice.

Yes, it's really crazy how some people annoy their neighbors with it.... and that the neighbors usually have to live with it

Snowy, be honest: I am surrounded by heat pumps. What’s annoying about that? Nothing for me or us at all. If I lived next to you, would I be allowed to start my Briggs and Stratton to mow? Would we be allowed to hang laundry on the line? Play badminton? Grill with charcoal? Have visitors? Portable radio next to the lounge chair? Karsten

So I have to say, as a person living in a new development area without gas supply, that I have not noticed anything negative about the air-water heat pumps so far. Either there is a lot of prejudice involved or these things have simply gotten better.

Sarcasm on: Neighbors at all... Sarcasm off.
