But private use is not the same as practice. In practice, there is warranty and standards. In private, I am totally with you. Although nothing below 8 conductors is acceptable, that's out of date. But if the CAT 5 UTP cable runs past Karsten’s microwave, YouTube is broken, right. The counterproof is provided by the professional, because they have to produce measurement protocols. And then it’s over.

OT: By the way, what does your résumé actually look like? Everyone paints a picture of themselves, and yours is really interesting (seriously). Consultant (slid into that?) to window manufacturer and then to ISDN revitalizer, or what?

If you mean the S0 bus: it is often run "folded" (there are even special "S0-Hub" patch panels for that) and can be quickly converted into a star topology. In medium-sized companies this actually exists – in large corporations it is like with private individuals, i.e. practically the violation of standards is the norm there. That’s being asked by someone whose profile here is not generally visible. Where does it say slipped into it here? – ISDN rest in peace, it was merely a bridging technology and unusually long-lived for a provisional solution in this sense – after more than three decades it is now over.

I have a question about that. Why "open stairs"? I am of the opinion that they give a house more spaciousness than the "walled-in stairs". Therefore, I am interested in your assessment.

When I look or listen to the youngsters stomping on the stairs, I'm glad we have them in the hallway and can close a door after each room.

Or do you mean stairs without risers? We have those on the 2nd floor as well.

The biggest construction mistakes of today are probably the thermal insulation measures with WDVS (not necessarily the mineral wool stuff but rather the plastic stuff) on house facades! Here, homeowners will face a lot of frustration during renovation or disposal of the like...
