Future Vision: Construction Sins of Today

Aluminum window sills are a good tip. I said before the construction that I didn't want any. You can hear every drop then. When choosing the windows, everyone recommended aluminum and of course they are supposed to be quiet because there's a great anti-rattle strip underneath. Not at all. You get used to it, just like you can get used to the weather on Velux windows. But it's not the smartest solution, it's the cheapest.

For me, aluminum window sills are visually much nicer than marble and also cheaper.

Can windows with aluminum cladding (not foiled) actually be painted if necessary?
